2025 was a portrait painting year
It is always a challenge to paint portraits in watercolor, so I chose to continue that challenge and paint some friends, family and even some chance acquaintances. Painting for me is all about challenges. I want to pick that subject that scares me, that makes my face go all squirrely while my brain dialogue says “Uh, hell no, let’s go back to fur babies!”.
