I am a creative. A dreamer. An open minded free thinker. An entrepreneur who wants to be a good influence for my kids. I am a friend, a teacher, an independent woman. But, above all, I am a stroke survivor. This painting journal is a testament of what it is like to be a creative and the struggles within oneself whether it be due to trauma or insecurity. Being a successful artist is not all glamour and fame. Raw, real, truth. Even the ugly bits. I hope you will join me on this journey.
All of the paintings in the book are created using Ampersand Aquabord, Daniel Smith Watercolors and Dynasty Black Gold brushes. Most of them are 8 x 8”.
Jen resides in Huntsville, Alabama with her partner in crime, a cat named Tipper.
